The independent artist and founder of 110 Co opens up about his personal journey, mindset rituals, and the mission behind the movement.
Behind the music and momentum of Paul Robert lies more than just talent—there’s a deep-rooted story of transformation, resistance, and resilience.
While Love Different is the current chapter in his unfolding journey, the road leading up to it hasn’t been straight. It's been filled with detours, internal blocks, and what Paul calls “a series of spiritual initiations”—lessons that didn’t just test his commitment, but also shaped his mindset as an artist, entrepreneur, and human being.
“We live in a world drowning in noise,” Paul says. “And when you speak truths that make people uncomfortable, the world will try to drown you out too. But I push through—not to prove myself—but because I know there are people who need to hear this.”
Finding Ground in Chaos: Mindset Anchors That Keep Paul Moving
Over time, Paul developed internal anchors—simple but powerful practices that help him reconnect to his purpose and stay centered amidst the noise. These aren’t trends or hacks. They’re part of his lifestyle, and each has helped shape his path as an artist and builder.
1. Literally grounding
“I go outside barefoot and plant my feet in the dirt. I touch the trees. It reconnects me to the real world, to the Earth. It brings my nervous system down and my focus up.”
2. Turning down the digital volume
“I take breaks from overstimulation and listen to nature sounds, instrumental music, or binaural beats. It’s like a sonic reset for my spirit.”
3. Chakra-focused meditation
“I work on each chakra individually, often using specific stones. I did a guided meditation for this on YouTube that people can still follow along with.”Watch the meditation here.
These practices aren’t about escaping reality—they’re about building the internal strength to face it fully.
Turning Obstacles Into Blueprints
One pivotal moment for Paul came when the traditional paths to success started closing—or never opened to begin with.
“No doors were opening through the established channels. The algorithms were against us. It felt like we were shouting into a void.”
That moment didn’t break him. It sparked something bigger.
“I realized: instead of trying to get into someone else’s house, we need to build our own. That’s when the idea for this new website and the 110 Co brand came to life.”
The vision? A digital home not just for Paul Robert as an artist, but for a whole community of creators and conscious humans. A place for collaboration, inspiration, and elevation.
“We’re in a building phase,” Paul shares. “This is just the beginning.”
Creating in a Sea of Noise
The music industry is often described as cutthroat, but Paul sees it differently.
“I’m not here to compete. I’m here to make my uniqueness stand out. That’s the challenge. And also, the gift.”
In an era where over a million songs are released daily, standing out isn’t about chasing trends—it’s about being deeply connected to what’s true for you.
“My mom once said, ‘Why’d you have to choose this? Can’t you choose something easier?’ I told her: I didn’t choose this. It chose me.”
The industry might be crowded. But Paul knows one truth remains:
“Art is subjective. Some will love it. Some won’t. The most important thing is that you love it. That you stand behind it. That you say something real. Because when you do that, the right people will hear it—and it will matter.”
